Rules & Governance

The Declaration is a key component to instilling harmony in our community. It provides "inalienable rights" for every owner while protecting the rights of all owners. Resolutions are rules adopted by the Board of Directors that supplement or supersede the rules provided in the Declaration. The Board of Directors relies on the Declaration to guide its governance of the community.
The Bylaws establish the governance structure for the Board of Directors and operating rules to ensure fair and equitable oversight for the community.
The Articles document the HOA as a legal entity for owning property (like our common areas), signing contracts (like our grounds maintenance services), and ensuring regulatory compliance (like transparency and, yes, paying taxes).

One of the most important responsibilities of every homeowner is to understand and abide by the rules of the Homeowners Association. This ensures our community remains inviting and welcoming to all. Through proper maintenance and care for our homes and respect for our neighbors, we protect our property values and live in harmony.
If you are considering a modification to the exterior of your home that is not already permitted by the Rules, you are required to submit an exterior modification application 60 days BEFORE starting the project.

The Declaration contains the rules for our community, and from time-to-time, the Board of Directors adopts additional rules, called resolutions.
These abridged rules are a quick reference guide. Consult the official documents or email the Board of Directors if you have questions.
